The Organizational Committee warranted the complete protection of the Trade mark, Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals of the National Competition THE BRAND OF THE YEAR.

The Trade mark, as well as Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals of the National Competition THE BRAND OF THE YEAR are protected by the patent affirmation signs. All the winners use them exclusively.

The Competition Logo is the victory attribute in the Consumer nominations. It is protected from October 28, 2002.
Medals of the National Competition THE BRAND OF THE YEAR are the obligatory victory attribute in the Professional Nominations. The basic element of the medal is the logo THE BRAND OF THE YEAR is protected by the potent right in the trade mark regime; design and appearance are registrated as industrial model in the National Intellectual Property Center.

The Organizational Committee warranted the complete protection of the distinctive signs. It gives an opportunity to the winners of the Competition use these attributes exclusively.

The usage of the sign and winner’s name without special right given by the Orgcommittee considers as infringement of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus in the trade mark protection sphere.

The medals of the Competition are made by the Gomel production association «Crystal» subsidiary «The plant Jeweler». The hand-made medals have natural gold-leaf or they are covered with natural silver.
