BRANDING: Ergo Created New Brand Identity for Carlsberg BEO*

BEO* is Carlsberg first venture into soft drink innovations, giving consumers a real alternative to alcohol and soft drinks. Ergo defined the potential, identified the mindset and developed a new brand language for this emerging category. The independent brand identity consultancy worked with the Carlsberg team to give the brand a ‘delightfully refreshing’ personality that brings the product experience to life, and created the brand identity-natural, fresh, yet sophisticated.

Now appearing in supermarkets, restaurants and bars throughout Scandinavia, the new BEO* range graces shelves to inspire a new generation of refreshing alternatives to CSD’s. The new brand identity has been enthusiastically received by the whole company the trade and the consumer.

Ergo came into the process at the really critical stage… within a short time, Ergo cracked it, and came up with strong proposition and the right design. They helped bring the brand to life, a brand magazine and promo materials helped sell in to stakeholders. BEO* is now being launched in Denmark and across Europe. I can recommend their work-and trust
